Kate currently serves as an outsourced CFO. With 26 years of experience in accounting and finance, Kate has worked with small, family-owned businesses to large, publicly-traded corporations in various industries from manufacturing to service provision. Kate brings her strengths of maximizing resources, improving processes, and achieving success to her role as CFO. With a love of education and a passion for developing people, Kate strives to facilitate continuous improvements for the teams whom she serves. Kate holds degrees from both Oklahoma State University and Florida Metropolitan University in Accounting and Business Administration. Kate passed the Certified Management Accountant exams in 2015. Kate is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants and a member of the Society of Human Resource Managers. She served as President of the Chattanooga IMA in 2004-2005, and she served as their VP of Education in 2015-2016. Kate served in several roles on the Board of Directors for the Chattanooga Chapter of Executive Women’s International, and she has participated in the Women Mentoring Women program for Chattanooga Women’s Leadership Institute. When not working, Kate enjoys spending time with her family: hiking, bird watching, fishing, and spending time on the water.
